Bicultural Studies Programme

The Bicultural Studies Programme (BSP) nurtures principled, bi-literate and world-ready leaders who have a deep understanding of both Western and Chinese cultures.

“Joining the BSP (Bicultural Studies Programme) in Eunoia has truly been an enriching journey. Besides exposing us to many fascinating topics, the teachers have given us many opportunities to direct our own learning, such as designing our own lessons and activities.

Despite 2020 being a special year of new restrictions and challenges, together as a batch, we were able to pull through the odds and forge many precious friendships while coming up with meaningful activities to keep us aligned to the values and ethics of being bicultural scholars. Through these value-based activities, we were able to absorb fruitful insights which deepened our understanding of what it means to be an aficionado of both Western and Eastern fields of studies. I strongly believe that what we have gained through BSP will stay with us and this has certainly given us the confidence to further our endeavours into the paths of realising our potential to influence the contemporary world.”

Our Journey from East to West

Curious about what we learnt during BSP lessons last year? We gained a deeper understanding of both the similarities and differences between Chinese and Western cultures through a variety of lessons.

Engaging the Complexities of China and the world

BSP students undergo an intensive Chinese curriculum in China’s history, culture and contemporary developments so that they are better able to engage with China. Students will be equipped to manage complexities and ambiguities in the relationship between East and West, and further Singapore’s interests with the world.
