LATITUDE aims to nurture a deep sense of moral responsibility and commitment to society and humanity, and cultivate the disposition of intellectual humility and curiosity in our talented students.

LATITUDE broadens your worldview and enriches your perspectives by exposing you to intellectually stimulating content and interdisciplinary concepts. The exploration and examination of these beyond the confines of the classroom and the experience of engaging in meaningful exchanges with various partners would hopefully embolden you to be the change you want to see.

“Weekly discussions made me more interested in the subject matter as I am now more concerned about global affairs, and I have a greater conviction to visit areas where people need help.”

Dason Yeo, EJC Class of 2019

“I realised that perhaps the first step of being a global citizen is to be well-informed of what is going on in the world that we live in.”

Jovan Tay, EJC Class of 2019

Public Policy & Civic Engagement

The PPCE module seeks to expose Eunoians to different streams of work within Singapore’s public sector. Eunoians will empowered to consider public sector issues using a multifaceted approach; appreciate how public policy can influence outcomes; and advocate effectively for an issue that connects with them.

Global Citizenship & Advocacy

Global Citizenship & Advocacy (GCA) aims to equip students with the conceptual understanding of pressing issues in our world today; enable them to think critically and ask difficult questions about our role as global citizens in a world which is home to all of us; and finally, embolden them to act with conviction and moral courage.

Political Processes & Constitutional Liberties

The PPCL aims to develop in students a robust appreciation of Singapore’s political and judicial system. Through navigating and evaluating salient domestic legislation and human rights declarations, we hope to nurture not just a critical understanding of the legal system, but more importantly how these legal and political concepts manifest in Singapore’s unique socio-political climate.
